Symptom

When trying to commit, the commit fails with the following message:

Error: Authobj must have auth profile    
 (Module: device)
  Commit failed

This issue is caused by Authentication Profile missing from the configuration in the Authentication Object .
This can happen when the main purpose is to configure an Authentication Policy

Go to GUI: Objects > Authentication.
Use the drop down button for authentication profile and select the configured authentication profile
Commit.

Note: If the authentication profile is not configured, configure the same and then select the dropdown menu.
