Is the CLI required to configure Prisma SD-WAN devices?

  • Prisma SD-WAN
  • ION Devices

Answer


  1. No. The CLI is not required to configure Prisma SD-WAN (CloudGenix) devices.
  2. All configuration is done through the Prisma SD-WAN portal.
  3. The device must be online and reachable by the portal in order for the configuration changes to be pushed to the device.

Additional Information


Note: Any configuration changes made locally from the CLI will be overwritten by portal once the device is online.
