After an upgrade of Panorama, Does the "device group" and "template" of all manage firewalls expect to show Out of Sync?

Environment


  • Any Panorama.
  • PAN-OS 9.1, 9.2

Answer


After any PAN-OS upgrade on Panorama, It is expected to see all manage firewalls Out of Sync under GUI: Panorama > Managed Device > Summary.
In order to have the status of these firewalls back to In Sync, a Push operation from Panorama to firewalls is needed (GUI: Commit > Push to Devices).
