Some Firewalls are not showing under Panorama health section

Symptom


  • Some Firewalls are not showing under Panorama health section
  • Both FW and Panorama should be running PAN-OS 8.1 or higher


Environment


  • PAN-OS 8.1
  • Firewalls connected to Panorama


Resolution


-Any Managed Firewall which does not meet the below criteria, will not show up under Panorama health section
-Following are the requirement for device monitoring through Panorama:

  • 'Enable pushing device monitoring data to Panorama' option need to be check on the Firewall 
  • No additional configuration is required on Panorama.

           On Firewall: Device>> Setup >> Management >> Panorama Settings          Config required on Firewall

 



Additional Information


-Device monitoring can be enabled from cli of Firewall with below command:
>set deviceconfig setting management device-monitoring enabled <yes|no>
