Question

How does CloudGenix selects traffic Path ?

Environment

CloudGenix

Answer

CloudGenix is an application routing and policy engine system.

Policy is written based on applications within the environment and on policies for these applications and their business relevancy and criticality.

Policies and actions for business or non-business applications are mapped to the paths these applications are allowed to take.

Multiple Methods are used for Application Detection;
  • Static application ports, URLs, and transport layer
  • Protocol signatures such as RTP, RingCentral, and SMB
  • L3/L4 or L7 custom applications
