Objective


Resolving "Error: unable to create user account. Please contact support".
Creating a Customer Support Portal (CSP) membership account when the user`s SSO Credentials already exist on our Learning Portal (beacon.paloaltonetworks.com).

Procedure


If you already have a Learning Center login, you will not be able to self-register on our Customer Support Portal (CSP). Your Support Portal membership needs to be created manually by one of the Super Users of the account that you would like to get access to.
 
  1. If you know who the account Super User is, please ask them to create your Support Portal membership manually by following the steps in this article.
 
  1. If you don`t know who the account Super User is, visit the Customer Support Portal home page for further assistance.

Once your CSP membership account is created, you can try to login again at support.paloaltonetworks.com with the SSO Credentials that you are already using to access our Learning Portal.
If you don`t remember your password, follow these steps to create a new one.
