Question

Along the lines of questions (c)through (e), does your SD-WAN provide any value when traffic is going from Site A with appliance to an internet destination with no appliance?
If so, please specify (e.g. round-robin load balancing between links, etc.). I know CloudGenix offers visibility and application requeuing when traffic changes.

Answer

Yes. Firewall, measurement of effective link capacity, application performance monitoring and unreachability detection, QoS/shaping, and path selection (Active-Active or Active-Backup leveraging direct internet as well as backhaul paths IAW customer preference).
