Question

Does traffic heading directly to the internet (e.g. Salesforce) need to pass through one of your core POPs as well?

Environment

CloudGenix

Answer

Unlike alternative SD-WAN solutions, CloudGenix does not change the integrity of your data plane. There is no CloudGenix POP for customer traffic to flow through, hence there is no additional single point of failure, point of vulnerability, or point of congestion. Traffic can flow directly to destination over private or public circuits without going through an external gateway or POC.
