Question

How do I add a CloudGenix device without reducing branch level High Availability (HA)?

I want to add CloudGenix to a branch with an existing ISR router.

Environment

CloudGenix

Answer

At a branch with a single ISR router, adding CloudGenix will enhance your high availability (HA). The CloudGenix device can sit physically in-path, between the switch and the ISR router, and will terminate the internet connection. In the event of an ISR failure or downstream MPLS failure, CloudGenix will automatically leverage the internet VPN link if allowed by policy. If a CloudGenix device fails, the physical inline adapter will fail-to-wire and traffic will flow over your MPLS path.
