Objective

Reviewing and accepting / denying new membership request.

Environment

CSP

Procedure

Each time a new user is requesting access to a support account, the account Super Users receive an email notification. The Super Users are entitled to accept or reject the membership request by following the steps below:

1. Log into the support account

2. Select Members

3. Select Manage Users

4. Click on Review Pending Memberships

5. On the Pending Memberships page, you can approve or reject users individually or in bulk.

Processing Individual vs. Bulk Requests

Individual Action

  1. To accept a single request, click the Accept  in the "Actions" column for that user's row.

  2. To reject a single request, click the Reject  in the "Actions" column for that user's row.

Bulk Action (New Feature)

To help Superusers efficiently manage a large volume of new users, you can select multiple pending membership requests and approve or reject them in bulk.

  1. You can click the checkbox in the table header to select all users on the page.

  2. Use the checkboxes on the left side to select the users you wish to process.

  3. Once users are selected, click the Bulk Accept (X) button at the top of the list to Accept all selected requests at once.

  4. Once users are selected, click the Bulk Reject (X) button at the top of the list to Reject all selected requests at once

⚠️ Important: Email Domain Whitelisting

The ability to approve new members is integrated with the Email Domain Whitelisting feature.

  1. If a pending user's email domain is not on the approved whitelist, a red cross icon (X) will appear next to their email.

  2. The Bulk Accept button will be disabled. You cannot Bulk Accept a selection of users if any of them belong to a non-whitelisted domain. This restriction also applies to the Accept action against individual rows.

  3. An icon with a tooltip will appear next to the pending user's email. The tooltip will state: "One of the selected requested domains is not on the whitelist. Before the super user can approve the pending membership, the domain admin must first add the domain to the whitelist".

Additional Information

Only Super Users can manage Pending Memberships. If there is no active Super User in the account (for example because the only active Super User has left the company), please visit the Customer Support Portal home page for further assistance.
