Symptom
After Upgrading Firewall to 9.0 content installation fails with error: "Error: failed to handle TDB_UPDATE_BLOCK""
Environment
- NGFW
- PANOS v.9.0
Cause
Intention in 9.0 is to switch to PSCAN mode by default. However, it causes DP to load both AHO and PSCAN, which will cause content installations to fail.
Resolution
Customer has two options:
1) Force AHO Mode:
> set system setting ctd-mode aho > request restart system
2) Upgrade to 9.0.1 or later versions.
