How to Change a Panorama with Prisma Plugin from Panorama-mode to Management-mode only

Objective
- Trying to change Panorama with Prisma plugin to management-only mode using the cli command ">request system system-mode management-only" results in the error below.
- This article provides steps to be taken before using the CLI command.

Executing this command will change the system to management-only mode, logs will be removed. This will restart the system. Are you sure you want to continue? (y or n)
Server error : Failed to change to management-only mode.
Plugins need to be uninstalled before system mode change
Environment
- Panorama with Prisma Plugin installed
- Prisma Access
Procedure
The following steps needs to be performed before executing the above command:
- Backup of Panorama:
- GUI: Panorama > Setup > Operations/Load a Named Configuration Snapshot Leave "Select Device Groups & Templates" unchecked.
- Export Panorama snapshot:
- GUI: Panorama > Setup >Operations/Export Named Panorama Configuration Snapshot, Click the Drop-down arrow and select previously saved configuration. Leave "Select Device Groups & Templates" unchecked.
- Remove Plugin configuration:
- GUI: Panorama > Plugins > and Click on "Remove configuration".
- Commit to Panorama. Do NOT Push to Devices.
- Uninstall Plugin.
- Change to Management Mode. Use the command ">request system system-mode management-only".
- Re-install Plugin.
- Panorama/Licenses. Retrieve license key from the License Server.
- [Wait 10 minutes or more for the licenses to show up on the Panorama]
- Load Configuration Saved Previously:
- Panorama > Setup > Operations/ Load named Panorama Configuration Snapshot. Click the Drop-down arrow and select previously saved configuration.
- Commit to Panorama.
- Confirm Status from Panorama/Cloud Service/Status.
