Question

What if I can't see all namespaces of a cluster in Prisma Cloud Compute?

Environment

  • Prisma Cloud Compute (self-hosted)
  • Any Kubernetes cluster (Vanilla or managed)

Answer

If checking the clusters under Radars/Containers you notice any cluster that is not displaying the correct number of namespaces as you know the cluster contains, that means there is no user workload (not kube-system ones) in this namespace.

Additional Information

Prisma Cloud Compute console needs a user workload (pod/container) running in determined namespace to identify it under the Radar page. Not displaying the correct amount of namespaces for a cluster doesn't mean there is something broken, unless you validate that there is any user workload running in it (exclude the kube-system workloads).
