Does VM firewall and Panorama supports IMDSv2 in AWS?

Answer


  1. Deployment of Bring-Your-Own-License (BYOL) VM firewall using IMDSv2 is supported on PAN-OS 10.2 and higher with vm-series plugin 3.0.0 and higher.
  2. Deployment of Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) VM firewall using IMDSv2 is supported from PAN-OS 10.2.5.
  3. Deployment of VM Panorama in AWS using IMDSv2 is supported in AMI image of Pan-OS 10.2.3, 10.2.3-h2, 10.2.4 and higher.

Additional Information


PAYG VM firewall deployed using IMDSv2 is unable to get licensed on PAN-OS 10.2.4 or earlier.
