How to configure Custom URL filtering profile in Cloud Managed Prisma Access?

Environment


  • Cloud Managed Prisma Access.
  • Custom URL Category
  • URL Filtering


Procedure


1. Go to Palo Alto Networks Hub  and click on the Prisma Access App
2. Go to Manage > Configuration > Security Services > URL Access Management > Custom URL Categories > Click Add category

3. Provide Name, Description, Type, and Add or Import the URLs in the Items and save

4. Add a new URL Access Management Profiles by going to Manage > Configuration > Security Services > URL Access Management > URL Access Management Profiles.

5. Determine the Access control Site Access and User Credential Submission action for the customURL Category (Alert, Allow, Block, Continue, None).
6. Then use the newly created URL Access Management Profiles to the existing profile group or create a new Profile Group by going to Manage > Configuration > Security Services > Profile Groups

7. Use the profile group to the desired security policy by going to Manage > Configuration > Security Services > Security Policy

8.  Push the configuration to the devices.
9. After the config status shows "In Sync" (It will be on Manage > Service Setup > Overview > Config Status>), test the policy.
