Prisma Cloud Compute: CNNS Collection is Currently Being Used and Cannot be Deleted.

Objective


This article shows how to delete a Cloud Native Network Segmentation (CNNS) collection which involves the deletion of the network object that is automatically created at Radars > Settings.

Environment


  • Prisma Cloud Compute SaaS
  • Prisma Cloud Compute Self-Hosted 21.04 or later


Procedure


Perform the following steps to delete CNNS collection:
  1. Go to Defend > CNNS > Container CNNS policy (or Host policy depending on what is configured)

  1. Delete the Policy from there.
  2. Now, navigate to Radars > Settings. There would be a Network Object with the same name as the CNNS policy.

  1. Delete the Network Object

  1. After deleting the Network Object, go to Manage > Collections and Tags and delete the collection.
