Symptom


Following is the error, when an unsupported OS container image scan has been initiated:

Environment


  • Prisma Cloud Compute Saas version
  • Prisma Cloud Compute Self-hosted version

Cause


We do not support certain legacy OS versions as mentioned in the documentation:

"Comprehensive Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) data is provided for the following base layers for all versions except EOL versions:"
 

Resolution


It is possible to determine the oldest version by checking the intelligence feed status

Manage > System > Intelligence > CVE Statistics
