Symptom


  • Receiving error message 'Server error : Timed out while getting config lock. Please try again.'
  • Issue occurs when logging in to a Panorama after upgrading to 9.1.13
  • Issue can also occur while making changes in GUI or using the CLI
  • Restarting mgmt server may resolve temporality but the issue always returns

Environment


  • Any Panorama
  • PAN-OS 9.1.13

Cause


An issue in the configd process causing a deadlock

Resolution


Upgrade to 9.1.14 which has included a fix for this issue under PAN-189010
