Device Certificate page is not loading on GUI

Symptom


  • After navigating to Device > Certificate Management > Certificate > Device Certificate page is not loading:

Environment


  • Palo Alto Firewall
  • PAN-OS 10.1

Cause


  • Corrupt certificate imported on firewall.
  • In this example, there are two certificates and each one is issuer of another which will create a loop for firewall when looking up for issuer of the certificate

Resolution


Delete the corrupt certificate from CLI 
> configure
# delete shared certificate <certificate_name>
# commit
