Question
The Kubernetes Monitoring Definition status shows Watcher in initializing state on Passive Panorama, where in Active Panorama it is in connected state.
Environment
Platform : Panorama
Plugin : Kubernetes
Answer
This is an expected behavior. By design, like most of the other features, only the Active Panorama will be monitoring the Kubernetes clusters configured under the Kubernetes plugin.
Additional Information
The entries from the plugin_kubernetes_tag_watch.log on the Passive Panorama will help confirming that the watcher process thread(s) is no longer running after the HA state change.
