Overview
Use CSP Assets page to manage your portfolio of Palo Alto Networks products:
-
Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW)
- PA-Series
- PA-Series Spares
- VM-Series
- CN-Series
- Panorama (including M-Series hardware)
- Prisma Access
- Prisma Cloud
- Prisma SD-WAN
- Okyo
- Cortex
- Data Lake
- XDR
- Xpanse
- XSIAM
Assets page has powerful filter features to help you find assets. If you have an asset's serial number, the easiest method to find the asset is to enter its serial number in the global search box. Or, you can search by product type, e.g., NGFW for firewalls, or by selecting a product type family, such as Panorama, then scrolling through the asset table to find a specific instance of Panorama.
Assets page has:
-
Large-grain filters, such as filter by product family
-
Medium-grain filters, such as filtering by product model
-
Small-grain filters, such as search for text on a specific asset.
Or, combine different filters, that work together to help you find your assets.
Asset Table
The asset table displays your Palo Alto Networks products after application of Asset page filters. Apply as many filters as you need to find an asset(s). The asset table then contains assets that reflect your filters.
NOTES about CSV files.
-
When you create a CSV file in Assets page, CSP downloads the contents of the asset table to the CSV file. Therefore, keep in mind when you use filters to change the contents of the asset table, CSP downloads the contents of the asset table that match your filters.
-
If you want to create a CSV file in Assets page with all assets in a CSP account, disable all filters, so the asset table contains all assets.
Asset table displays the following columns:
-
Asset type - product type, e.g., NGFW (PA-Series, VM-Series, CN-Series, Line Cards, Spares), Panorama, Prisma Access, Prisma SD-WAN, Okyo, Cortex Data Lake, Cortex XDR, ...
-
Model - product model, e.g., PA-220, PA-3410, Panorama, Prisma Access
-
Asset Name - name you assign to an asset (not all assets can be assigned names)
-
Entitlement Type - Serial Number or Token ID
-
Serial Number / Token ID - Serial Number or Token ID value, depending on value in field Entitlement Type
-

-
Decommission PA-Series NGFWs
-
Transfer assets to another CSP account
To select one or more products to decommission or transfer, select the checkbox for that asset. Then, click the button for the bulk action.
Note that decommissioning an asset takes an asset out of service. This is a permanent action. Also, note that only PA-Series assets can be decommissioned.
Asset Dashboard - Calls to Action
Asset dashboard contains calls-to-action for you to respond to. For example,
-
