Question
If Minimum Password Complexity is enabled then one of the options is the Minimum Length for the Password Format Requirements.
What happens with existing passwords if they do not meet the new Minimum Length requirement?
Environment
- Any Panorama or firewall
- Any PAN-OS version
Answer
The already configured passwords will be valid even if the length is shorter than the new minimum length requirement.
New passwords will have to meet the new minimum requirement length.
