Symptom


Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) occurred with stop code "BAD_POOL_CALLER" when GlobalProtect initiated the connection process.



Environment


  • Panorama Managed Prisma Access
  • GlobalProtect 6.2.0-89
  • Microsoft Windows 11 Home, 64-bit with McAfee software


Resolution


  1. Uninstall McAfee software.
  2. Verify if the issue is resolved.
  3. Contact Mcafee support if the issue is resolved.
  4. If the issue persists after uninstall of McAfee software, contact Palo Alto Support.
