The Activation Flow of Device Security Security Trial License

Objective
To request an Device Security Security Trial license for a device through the Customer Support Portal.
Environment
- Customer Support Portal (CSP)
- HUB
Procedure
- Go to the Customer Support Portal (CSP) >> Products >> Assets >> Search for the serial number of the device where you would like to activate the Device Security trial >> click on the Licenses & Subscriptions icon for the device >> Click the Activate License button >> Select Activate Trial License
- Select the preferred Device Security trial license type >> Read through the EULA and Support Agreement. If everything complies, click Agree and Submit.
- 60 day Trial for Device Security Security, Does not Require Data Lake
- 60 day Trial for Device Security Security - Requires Active Cortex Data Lake
- 60 day Trial for Device Security Security Third-party Integrations Add-on
- At this point your request for the trial Device Security feature is still pending. The trial license will not show up on the device just yet
- You will get an activation email. By clicking on the Activate button within the email, you will be redirected to the Device Security Security Setup Window
- You will need to select (or create) an Device Security Security Tenant, Agree to the Terms and Conditions and click on Activate
- Finally, associate Device Security Security with your firewall under the Device Associations tab of Common Services
- The Device Security trial license becomes visible on your device on the Support Portal
