Prisma Cloud: Error "No finding id(s) were found for one or more finding names" observed when running an attack path policy's query

Symptom


  • You will see the "Something Went Wrong Error" on the Investigate page and a "No Finding id(s) were found for one or more finding names" prompt" at the top of the screen.

  • This is the error you will see from a HAR file while encountering this issue.

Environment


  • Prisma Cloud > Investigate Page > Attack Patch Policy Query


Cause


  • Since Attack Path Policies have a set of Rules (Policy Modules) attached to it. That if at least one of this Policy Modules are disabled hence you will encounter the error.

GUI: Prisma Cloud > Governance > Policy

Resolution


  • Make sure that any attached Policy Module on any Attack Path Policies are enabled.
  • You may view this attached Policy Module via the Governance Page on the Policy Details, on the Create Query tab and hover under "FindingName VALUES"
