How to delete or reset Device Security devices in Device Security Security Portal

This article explains how to delete or reset Device Security devices in Device Security Security Portal.

Procedure


To delete or reset Device Security devices in Device Security Security Portal, follow the steps below.

Step1) Access HUB and select Device Security Security Portal icon.

Step2) Navigate Assets > Devices menu in the left, then select a MAC address of the device which you want to delete or reset in Inventory menu.

Step3 ) Once Legacy Device device details page appears, scroll down the page.

Step4) Find SECURITY section. There's a Reset baseline button next to "Baseline Modeling."
When you hover your cursor over the icon, a little title pop-up appears that says "Reset baseline".

Step5) When clicking "Reset baseline" button, the following explanation is displayed.
If you want to proceed, select "Reset" here.

Additional Information


As of Feb 2024, Reset baseline option next to "Baseline Modeling"  only appears in the legacy device details page and only for Device Security devices.
