  1. What is asset "Findings" On the Asset Inventory (on the "Inventory > Assets")
  2. When will the "View Finding Details" available for assets under Asset Details Findings Tab?

Environment


  • Prisma Cloud

Answer


  • Findings generated within Prisma Cloud includes all security findings detected about the asset, including violations against module policies and third-party non-vulnerability findings. These findings, with data from AWS GuardDuty and Inspector, offer valuable insights for vulnerability management and detecting potential compromises. Additionally, enabling malware protection on Prisma Cloud generates supplementary findings, enhancing resource visibility.

  • The "View Finding Details" for the assets findings are available for the Malware and WAAS findings.

  • For all other Findings, the "View Finding Details" are either disabled or not available. 
  • The drop down of "Type" lists all the available Finding Types.
