Symptom


500 Internal Server Error

Environment


  • Prisma Cloud Runtime Security
  • Prisma Cloud Compute

Cause


This is due to the WAAS in-line proxy timing out as configured on the WAAS rule. If a request is not read within the timeout frame a 500 error response is returned.

Resolution


To increase the timeout limit, you need to modify the WAAS rule created in Defend >> WAAS as follows:
