Is it possible to view firewall console output without serial connection to firewall console port?

Environment


  • Palo Alto (Platform) Firewalls
  • Supported PANOS versions 
  • Console

Answer


  1. The console output is not saved automatically on any of firewall files.  
  2. Firewall console output can only be viewed through serial connection to firewall console port.
