- Why is the Host Defender for Windows not finding unpackaged software vulnerabilities?
Environment
- Prisma Cloud Compute (SaaS or Self-Hosted)
- Prisma Cloud for host workload protection on Windows
Answer
- There is a known limitation in relation to detecting vulnerabilities in Jars for Windows. It is part of a feature roadmap.
- In other words, there is a known issue in which Prisma Cloud is not detecting Java packages in Windows environments however Prisma Cloud is capable of finding OS related vulnerabilities in Windows hosts i.e. OS specific "packages".
