What is the character limit of username supported with Cloud Identity Engine (CIE)?

- Prisma Access
- Prisma Access Cloud Managed
- Prisma Access Panorama Managed
Answer
- When using Directory Sync Services(DSS) / Cloud Identity Engine(CIE) with Prisma Access, the username is limited to 63 characters.
- The extra characters more than 63 will be discarded by the userid daemon.
- This holds true to all formats of usernames that we can configure under Mobile User and Remote Networks as below.
- userPrincipalName
- sAMAccountName
