Symptom

"Current PDT Date" information from "request license info" output is not current when compared to device system time.

This incorrect date on "request license info" output often cause confusion interpreting existing firewall license expiration dates. Engineering has confirmed this "Current PDT Date" phrase is incorrectly presented and should be ignored. It is meant to reference "Last License Check Date"

Ex: Firewall system date is showing as January 19, 2022 from "show clock" output. However, Current PDT Date from "request license info" command is showing as January 18, 2022 which is one day behind.

admin@PA-220> show clock
Wed Jan 19 06:25:00 PST 2022

admin@PA-220> request license info
Current PDT Date: January 18, 2022
