Unable to log in to "apps.paloaltonetworks.com" because "pan-gov-app-portal.web.app" is categorised as phishing.

Cause


Customers using PanDB or DNS Security encounter an issue accessing apps.paloaltonetworks.com because "pan-gov-app-portal.web.app" was miscategorized as phishing yesterday, which in turn references apps.paloaltonetworks.com.
 

Resolution


Pan-gov-app-portal.web.app has already been recategorized as "Computer and Internet Info" and the issue is resolved now. However, in some corner cases firewall still uses the old cached category and does not update the URL category to correct one. In that case, run the following command in CLI to clear out the old entry:

>clear url-cache url pan-gov-app-portal.web.app
