Symptom


  • Apps Seen are not populating/incrementing in Panorama Device Group Security Rule
  • Apps Seen showing 0 although Panorama Monitor Logs shows many apps being allowed for Security Rule.

Environment


  • Panorama
  • PAN-OS 9.0.9

Cause


PAN-129294 Fixed an issue on Panorama where the Policy Optimizer showed invalid data for Rule Usage.

Resolution


Upgrade to PAN-OS 9.0.11 or higher.
