If a Prisma Cloud alert is configured to auto-remediate, will I still get notifications?

Question
If I configure Alert Rules to both auto-remediate and also generate notifications, will I still get notifications when an alert is created?
Environment
- Prisma Cloud API.
- Alerts.
Answer
- Yes. The notifications are based on the selected status.
- The Auto-remediated alerts will start with the "Resolved" status.
- If the status are not selected, then the notifications are not seen.
- The feature needs to be enabled before configuring notifications. Contact TAC or CSE teams to enable the same.
- The picture below shows an example the configured notifications.
GUI: Prisma cloud Console > alerts > view alert rule > Edit > Configure Notifications
