Symptom
Under which conditions can users see the Sign Out option within the GlobalProtect app?
Environment
- Pan-OS
- GlobalProtect
Cause
The "Sign Out" button will be missing from the General tab in the GlobalProtect app settings if "Save User Credentials" is set to "No" in the Agent config in the Portal settings.
If "Save User Credential" is set to "Yes" or "Save username only" then the "Sign Out" button will be shown on General tab in the GlobalProtect app.
Resolution
In Network > GlobalProtect > Portal > "name of portal" > Agent > Authentication, if "Save User Credentials" is set to "No" then the "Sign Out" button will not be displayed in the GlobalProtect app settings:
If "Save User Credential" is set to "Yes" or "Save username only" then "Sign Out" button will be shown on General tab in the GlobalProtect app.
