To subscribe or unsubscribe from general email notifications, please follow the below process
Environment
- CSP (Customer Support Portal) https://support.paloaltonetworks.com
- Notifications sent from updates@paloaltonetworks.com or hello@emails.paloaltonetworks.com
Procedure
1. Log in to support.paloaltonetworks.com
2. Go to MY PREFERENCES by clicking your name in the lower left corner
3. For the specific email of interest, Opt In by placing a check mark, or Opt Out by removing the check mark

Q 1: Even after unsubscribing from notifications in Preferences, I am still receiving emails from updates@paloaltonetworks.com. What should be done?
A: You can request to be removed from all emails by filling out the form at this link. Please follow the steps below:
- Access the link.
- Click on 'Create Request.'
- Select 'Unsubscribe' under the 'Request Type' field.
- Complete the remaining fields as required.
This should ensure you are fully unsubscribed from further email notifications.
Q 2: Why do some emails like "Updated Sub-processor List" still arrive even after unsubscribing?

Q3. I no longer have access to CSP or Cortex XDR but still receive email notifications about XDR content updates?
A: You need to contact Cortex XDR Administrator who should verify if your email address was used in the past as the distribution list for XDR update emails.
XDR Admin can go to XDR → Settings → Configurations → General → Server Settings : and find there the list of email addresses Cortex XDR can use as distribution lists. The defined email addresses are used to send product maintenance, updates, and new version notifications.
