Objective
How to check if layer 7 inspection is being performed on applications.
Procedure
In CLI -
(Configuration mode):
Predefined Applications:
show predefined application <name>
Custom Applications:
show application <name>
Flag descriptions:
- appident: Identify applciation using pattern based signatures
- virus-ident: Use AV signatures
- spyware-ident: Use Spyware signatures
- file-type-ident: Use File blocking profile.
- file-forward: Forward file to WildFire for analysis
- vulnerability-ident: Use Vulnerability Protection signatures
Additional Information
Layer 7 flags are not viewable for pre-defined applications in UI, but (Some flags) are available in UI for custom applications.
By default custom applications do not have layer 7 inspection flags enabled.
