PA-VM deployed in AWS using bootstrap has serial as “unknown”

Symptom
PA-VM is deployed through bootstrapping process in AWS EC2 using Bring your own license (BYOL) model and the firewall instance boots up with serial number as “unknown”.
- Log in to the firewall CLI and execute below CLI command:
>debug logview component bts_details

- Above CLI output indicates “authcodes” file is missing
Environment

- Deployment: AWS
Cause
- “authcodes” file is either missing in AWS S3 Bucket within the “license” folder or the filename might be incorrect
Resolution
- Rename the file within “license” folder on S3 bucket from “authcode” to “authcodes” to fix the typo
