How to disable the Troubleshooting tab on GlobalProtect client

Objective
The objective of the article is to explain how to disable the"Troubleshooting" tab on the GlobalProtect client machines.

Environment
  • PAN-OS 8.1 and above
  • Global Protect Client


Procedure
  1. Open the setting in GUI: Network > Portals > (select the portal) > Agent > (select the agent) > App
  2. Scroll down and change the setting Enable Advanced View as No.

  1. Click Ok twice and Commit the changes.
  2. The new settings will take place once the client connects to the portal again (displayed below).
