Error: An active license is required for this feature

• Receiving error "An active license is required for this feature"
• This happens when using "check Now under GUI: Device > Software
• This can happen during when trying to configure a feature as well.

• Palo Alto Firewalls
• Supported PAN-OS

The expired license on the Firewall is not deleted.

1. Go to Device > Licenses
2. Click on 'Retrieve license keys from license server' 
3. Remove the expired licenses from the CLI using the following CLI command.
   • > delete license key ? 
   • > delete license key ( put in the expired license key)
4. Go to Device > Software
5. Click on 'Check Now'
