How to resolve update error code:-35 issue

Objective
When try to download wildfire update, it fails with generic communication error:
Failed to download due to generic communication error. Please try again later. Failed to download file.
Viewing MS.Log output displays Update error code:-35

2019-12-19 10:35:22.206 +0000 Error: pan_jobmgr_downloader_thread(pan_job_mgr.c:1300): DOWNLOAD job failed
2019-12-19 10:35:22.206 +0000 [DNS_API] default to getaddrinfo()
Environment
- Any Pan-OS.
- Dynamic Updates.
Procedure
This error is related to SSL handshake. As a workaround, the update server can be modified to use static updates.
Navigate to GUI: Device > Setup > Services and change the update server to staticupdates.paloaltonetworks.com
Additional Information
The error is related to SSL connection. It could be with the certificate, path, permissions etc. If the client side settings are correct and if the above solution does not work, please contact Palo Alto Support.
