Cause


Firewall failed to authenticate with the update server before attempting to download the software.

Resolution


  1. Click the check now button on the lower left corner on the main window to initiate a connection between the device and the update server.
  2. Then click on the download link for the PAN-OS version you want to download
  3. A pop up window will appear showing the download progress.
