After installing the Traps agent is a reboot required?

Environment


  • Traps Agent Versions: 4.2.x, 5.x and 6.x.
  • Endpoint Protection

Answer


The installation does not require a reboot to function.

Note: Protected processes that were already running before the install the Traps agent will not inject into it until a reboot. Only new protected processes that launch after install will be protected.
