How to register for access to the Support Portal for Evals

Objective


This guide will walk a new user through the steps required to register for access to the Support Portal using the Eval Request information. 

Procedure


  1. Go to https://support.paloaltonetworks.com/UserAccount/PreRegister
  2. Enter Your Email Address and click Submit

  1. Select the option Register device using Serial Number or Authorization Code and click Submit

  1. Enter your name and contact information in all of the required fields.
  2. In the field Device Serial Number or Auth Code, enter the serial number or auth code provided to you in the Eval Request Approved email. 
    • The Sales Order Number or Customer Id field should automatically convert to say Eval-ID.
  3. Enter the Eval-ID from the Eval Request Approved email. The format is E#####.
  4. Review the End User Agreement, and click the checkbox if you accept it.
  5. Click Submit.

If you are joining an existing Support account that has a Super User already associated with it, then you will not be able to login to the Support portal until that user approves your membership. 
 
  • If you do not know who the account Super User is and your membership has not been approved within 24 hours, please reply-all to the Eval Request Approved email you received, and ask the eval team to provide you a list of the Super Users registered to the support account you are trying to access.
