Objective


To provide users with the flexibility to configure the PA-850 firewall's SFP ports to operate at either 1Gbps or 10Gbps speeds, based on their specific needs.

Environment


  • PA-850


Procedure


  1. Run the following command to reconfigure the SFP+ ports to SFP: 
admin@PA-850> set system setting ports-9-12-speed sfp
  1. Restart the firewall to make the changes effective:
admin@PA-850> request restart system
  1. To verify the current settings for these four ports, run the following command:
admin@PA-850> show system setting ports-9-12-speed
