Is Panorama covered by ESA?
Answer
- A standalone VM Panorama, not created in conjunction with a VM firewall is not covered by ESA. You will have to purchase individual support license for the device. Point 6.e from the Enterprise Program (for Hardware Support) section of the ELA/ESA official document confirms this limitation:
- Physical Panorama devices (M-Series Devices) are covered by ESA.
- VM Panoramas created with a VM perpetual bundle license which enables you to create the Panorama device, (i.e. VM-1000 HV) are covered by VM-ELA.
