What is the Admin user Password Change Behavior in HA?
Answer
1) Password Change of an Administrator user (Device>Administrator) in a Device will take effect even without a commit, this will be reset after a reboot.
2) Password change will not reflect in the Passive Device unless a commit is done in the Active Device as the commit Sync will happen after that.
Additional Information
Change the password of an admin user from CLI using the below command:
admin@PA-VM> configure
admin@PA-VM# set mgt-config users <username> password
Enter password :
Confirm password :
admin@PA-VM# commit
