How To Configure an Alert for Expiring Licenses

Objective
Receive an email when a license expires.
Procedure
Step 1: Create an Email Server Profile for syslog forwarding
Step 2: In Device > Log Settings > System > Add new Profile
Step 3: Add the Email Server Profile you created
Step 4: Add the filter (description contains License) and (severity EQ critical) Note that the L in "License" must be capitalized.

- License expiring messages will be logged daily in syslog. This procedure will email you every day to notify you that the license is expiring.
- The filter description of "License" must have the L capitalized to capture the proper alert from syslog messages as shown here:
