Question


Varrcvr Debug Logs indicate that WildFire registration failed with error "download server list failed. response code 401." Why does that happen?

Answer


This indicates there is an issue connecting to the WildFire cloud. Your connection may be blocked or there might be an issue with the cloud instance. Please try registering to a (different) regional cloud or the global cloud: WildFire Global Cloud
  • Go to the Device tab
  • In setup, open the WildFire tab
  • Select the menu item for General Settings
  • Change the WildFire Public Cloud address
